【Machined from Φ200】Thin-walled continuous ring made of polyacetal
[Okayama Manufacturing Contest 2019 Excellent Work Award] Thin-walled continuous ring machined from a Φ200 polyacetal resin round bar with a wall thickness of 0.5mm.
"POM (Polyacetal resin)" is a material that excels in heat resistance, impact resistance, and wear resistance, and is frequently used for mechanical parts. Processing it into a long, uniform shape with a thickness of 0.5 mm requires advanced technology. If there is even a slight error in synchronizing the "rotation" of the material with the "feed" of the machine tool at the appropriate speed, it can lead to variations in thickness and the risk of breaking during processing. Our company has used this material to produce a 0.5 mm thin-walled ring through composite lathe machining. 【Features】 ■ Continuous processing into a ring shape with a thickness of 0.5 mm ■ Material: POM (Polyacetal resin) ■ Size: φ200 ■ Technical details: Matching the rotation of the material with the movement of the cutting tool is key ■ Equipment used: Composite lathe NL-2000Y *For more details, please contact us or download the PDF.
